This is just a public service announcement regarding a new "ICO" that I believe has a really high scam potential.

Have you heard about EthConnect?? 

No.. I am not giving you a link... 

But I did my homework on their comapny and their ICO which is starting up on Nov 1, and here is what I have found out...

- It is a cheap low budget clone of BitConnect, not operated by the same people
- The whitepaper clearly says it is a "Ponzi Model" right there in plain letters
- No developers are listed in the whitepaper or on the website
- An older version of the whitepaper was archived by google that showed developers, BUT...
--- The developers names were fake and not verifiable
--- The developers photos were stolen photos from random Twitter accounts
--- After 4 days the developers info was removed from the official whitepaper
- The whitepaper claims the EthConnect token will be mined, however, it is an ERC20 token, and ERC20 tokens are not mineable
- The Bitcoin Talk forum on this ICO is riddled with people demonstrating this is a scam, and the developer has no answers to the claims
- The developer is not highly active on the Bitcoin Talk forum thread
- There is no slack channel, no telegram channel, and no discord channel
- The company claims to be operating from Japan, however the website DNS has been traced to Vietnam

If those are not enough red flags for you to run away as fast as you can from this company, then you should not be involved in this kind of business...

Ok.. So what does this all mean?? 

This has all the makings of a Grab Bag Scam.. Meaning there is a high potential that the admins for this website are just going to take your money and close down the site and run. 

Please do not invest in EthConnect..
